At the time of writing, the UK has voted to leave – and the world is still turning! I am pleased with the results yet there are a few things to keep in mind going forward. First, the results are not legally binding. Second, despite a solid turnout, the results are not decisive. In short, the ball is back in Cameron’s court. As for the EU? They should take notice of this result. If they go forward with genuine reforms then the UK might just stick around. Yet if they ignore and dismiss this, then they will only be reinforcing our worst opinions of them and undermine an already doubtful project.
