This sequel to “Captain America – The First Avenger” does everything better than its predecessor. The action is better and even the conspiracy theory remains interesting (albeit predictable). Chris Evans excels in this role along with every other actor in the film. A far more interesting and mature film than any other Marvel story going. In this quasi-sequel to “Man of Steel” we examine the consequences of the Battle of Metropolis. Both Batman and Superman are at odds with what happened, and the film fortunately never gives us a right or wrong answer, instead opting for an examination of both these heroes and their views. This is a good film and solid entertainment. Some parts are at odds for those who are not familiar with the comics, yet it does not detract from the overall experience. Continue reading
